The results of the 2026 general elections to the Corporation of the City of Panjim (CCP) have been officially declared, with representatives elected across all 30 wards of the Panjim civic body.
The election saw candidates from different panels securing victories across wards reserved for general, women, OBC and ST categories. The results will shape the governance of the state capital’s municipal body for the next term.
Among the winners, Yutika Zambaulikar was elected from Ward 1 (ST Women), while Carolina Po won Ward 2 (OBC Women) and Margarida Fernandes secured Ward 3 (OBC Women).
Rohit Monserrate won Ward 4, while Kishore Sastry was elected from Ward 5 and Bento Lorena from Ward 6. In Ward 7, Leonid Furtado emerged victorious, while Kareena Shirodkar won Ward 8.
From Ward 9, Kabir Makhija secured victory, while Prasad Amonkar won Ward 10 and Tukaram Chinanawar emerged victorious from Ward 11.
Ward 12 was won by Varsha Shetye, Ward 13 by Uday Madkaikar and Ward 14 by Prajot Vaigankar. Shayani Chopdekar was elected from Ward 15, while Asmita Kerkar secured Ward 16.
Jack Sukhija won Ward 17, while Krishna Shirodkar emerged victorious from Ward 18 and Nikita Naik won Ward 19.
Ward 20 was won by Shubham Chodankar, while Manisha Manerkar secured Ward 21 and Diksha Mainkar won Ward 22.
Vidhya Gadkar was elected from Ward 23, while Karan Parekh won Ward 24. Kirti Sakhalkar secured Ward 25.
In the remaining wards, Vasant Agshikar won Ward 26, Vithal Chopdekar Ward 27, Rupesh Halarnkar Ward 28, and Liberata Mendes E Achari Ward 29.
Ward 30 was won by Silvestre Fernandes.
With the results now declared, the newly elected councillors will soon assume office and begin addressing civic issues and development priorities in Panaji under the Corporation of the City of Panjim.
