MARGAO: Jai Prakash, 23, a native of Chhattisgarh ended his life in an isolated area, near Nuvem, on Saturday.
Maina-Curtorim police stated that the youth committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree.

Police also stated that Jai had come to Nuvem eight days ago from his native place and was staying in a room.
Police conducted all legal formalities and sent the body to the South Goa District Hospital for preservation and post-mortem examination and registered a case of unnatural death under Section 174 of CrPC. Wireless messages have also been sent to the concerned police stations in Chhattisgarh and have informed family members about the incident.
