MARGAO: South Goa District Congress President Joseph Dias on Monday said the circular issued by Director General of Health Services, New Delhi allowing patients to use smart phones and tablet devices in COVID Hospitals and COVID Care Centres will help the patients, healthcare workers and support staff to record the gross mismanagement and horrible conditions there.
Dias said this will help in putting pressure on the “insensitive” BJP government to hopefully take corrective measures.

Welcoming the circular, the South Goa District Congress president appealed to them to fearlessly shoot videos and take photographs of the pathetic situation in COVID Hospital as well as at COVID Care Centres and institutional paid quarantine facilities provided by the government.
“The Health Minister and the Chief Minister are afraid to release white paper on COVID handling in Goa as they are frightened of skeletons of corruption tumbling out of the box,” Dias charged.
“The insensitive BJP government has nothing to do with the hardship of the people who are suffering because of day-to-day rise in COVID positive patients and increasing number of deaths. The BJP is only in celebration mode all the time,” he alleged.
“Time has now come to quarantine the BJP government permanently and teach them a lesson,” Dias added.
