PANJIM: In a first of its kind, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant will hold online interaction with over 1000 Class X and Class XII passed out students on August 6.
The Directorate of Education (DoE) in a circular issued on Monday has asked each school and higher secondary to nominate two students each from Class X and Class XII.
The students are directed to attend the webinar from their residence only.
“Chief Minister will be interacting with the students who have recently completed their Xth and XIIth standard board exams. The webinar is scheduled on August 6 between 6 pm to 7 pm. The webinar can take upto 1000 students live,” Director DoE Santosh Amonkar said.
Nearly 17,554 students had cleared Class X Board examination, while 15,339 students cleared Class XII, this year.
The department has said once the data of the students is collected, the link of the event will be sent to all the heads of the institutions and the students by August 6, morning.
The computer teachers are directed to guide the students to get connected to the webinar in case they face any difficulty.
The Heads of Institutions are directed to inform all other students to watch the live interaction on Facebook on social media.
