The cross road on the Panjim-Mapusa highway at the junction leading to Alto Betim has smoother and safer traffic flow since the signals have been introduced, though numerous motorists regularly jump the traffic signals.
Whilst the installation of the signals is commendable can the Porvorim MLA arrange for large dustbins on either side of the cross road. There’s so much of filth and garbage accumulated on this stretch, which besides being unhygienic and filthy, is a disgrace.
