Carry on maintenance of roads in Vasco

Upon my return from Kuwait to Goa for annual holidays, I am really disappointed to see my town (Vasco) roads in a pathetic state; particularly the stretch of road from Vasco vegetable market up to Baina. This stretch is full of erosion and potholes, and as usual, with heaps of garbage on the road sides (in some places), which are an eyesore for citizens and tourists.
Therefore, I kindly request the concerned authorities and the Mormugao Municipal Council to resolve these issues after the monsoons. However, huge garbage bins must be immediately provided to contain garbage and regular collection of garbage must be done very early in the morning. It is not only ‘development’ that is important in Goa but maintenance is of ‘greater importance’, which sadly, is neglected, as usual!
