Clean our Mapusa

The verandas in the Mapusa Market are meant for the customer to move up and down with ease. Today the shopkeepers have been dumping their stores in these verandas making it very difficult for us to move, specially when the sun is hot and we prefer to use these verandas.

The verandas in the Mapusa Market are meant for the customer to move up and down with ease. Today the shopkeepers have been dumping their stores in these verandas making it very difficult for us to move, specially when the sun is hot and we prefer to use these verandas.
The other groups of vendors, who are selling their wares in the open, are not leaving any space for buyers to move up and down. The two-wheelers are making hell life out of us and I cannot understand why our traffic police and control van and those policemen who are seen sleeping in the market do not take any action. It looks like Mapusa does not have a police station.
Election is round the corner and all the politicians will be seen coming out on the streets like termites and everyone will be talking about bhaujan samaj. Instead of this slogan if all the politicians residing in Mapusa come on the street and clean our Mapusa and see that roads remain for three generations like the roads built by the Portuguese, see that all street lights function and the traffic lights are erected at dangerous junctions then one could say that the elected representatives have kept their promises towards the citizens who voted them to power.
