The road at Velsao, Dando-Mollo, in Cortalim Constituency, from Mathany Saldanha bridge to dead end is passing through housing areas. This road is about 400 meters and is in very bad condition. Its surface layer of hot mix is completely worn out and the second layer is exposed.
The lose asphalt of the top layer is washed out and spread all over the road, in the middle and also along both sides making the road slippery and extremely dangerous for all vehicles. Many accidents take place on this road due to slippery conditions.

Also there are no proper gutters dug on this road. In the rainy season, water from the nearby hills, and higher areas, gushes in the low lying residential areas. It is time to dig proper gutters at least near the residential areas, so that the rain water can flow in only one direction, and avoid inconvenience to the local people.
