PERNEM: The ill planned service roads in Tambose-Uguem have turned into splintering waterways affecting villagers with rainwater entering their yards.
Work on the under construction which is going on a war-footing has disrupted the free flow of water making life miserable for inhabitants here.
The road from Dhargal-Sukekulan to Patradevi is being built by a company.
“The contractor is working in an arbitrary manner without taking locals, panchayats and MLAs into confidence. It was necessary to first build service roads before widening the highway,” said local Digambar Asolkar.
