We in our towns suffer from myriads of compulsions and obsessions. Our compulsion to live life of lethargy ‘Susegad’ attitude nothing disturbs us. We and our government authorities and PWD and everyone live and move in a slow and backsliding speed.
This obsession to lethargy is causing enormous pain on the society as a whole and needs to be treated back to normalcy.
About seven days ago, due to heavy rains and thunder and lightning, in most places of Bicholim town, the Internet connections are damaged. Looks like the BSNL department is itself stuck by the shock of the lightning and are taking ages to repair or settle this problem. The ordinary common man is not financially sound that he may have other facilities to operate without the support of the Internet.
In this fast moving IT world of Mass media and communications, will the BSNL take ages to settle this problem that is being painfully and courageously faced by the common man? Is there a way out of this predicament created by our local government and departments? When will the BSNL Department of Bicholim wake up from their slumber and lethargy and shock of facing the lightning and nature’s fury and begin to serve the local people with more interest, dedication and commitment and repair the heavy loss created to the simple, helpless ordinary man of Bicholim town?
