Goa is a tourist destination, and yet there are no changing rooms and toilets at many beaches in the state. One such beach is in my village of Majorda. Many tourists visit this popular South Goa beach, but one can find no changing rooms and toilets for women. Many tourists are seen entering the nearby shacks to change or to use the washroom.
It is a great shame that our Tourism Department authorities and Ministers go abroad on study tours and to organise Road Shows promoting tourism in Goa, and yet fail to provide these basic amenities to the people. My humble request to the concerned Minister and the MLA, to take note of the requirement at the earliest.
