The open drain seen as seen in the picture is just behind the Mapusa Municipal Council building and I don’t understand why the work is left incomplete.
It is not only amusing traffic jam during the school hours but also posing a danger to the motorists.
Just two days ago, a car driven by a lady landed in the drain. The locals helped in retrieving the car safely and said this is the fourth car to land in the drain.
Will the authorities act promptly or wait till a tragedy takes place?
