The pavement leading from Hotel Embassy towards Vailankanni Jewellers in Panjim has been lying in a neglected condition. The location is in the vicinity of 31st January Road, Cortin. Floor tiles at some spots have been found missing.
The pedestrians walking their way along this pavement face great inconvenience due to uneven surface. Further, a wooden platform has been lying in the middle of this particular pavement. It serves to be an obstacle for public at large who proceed along this route in large numbers.

Senior citizens are likely to get injured in case they happen to stumble against this particular platform. It is absolutely necessary that difficulties of pedestrians end on a permanent basis.
I hope that the concerned authorities would levy a sympathetic attitude towards this important matter and arrange necessary repairs of the above pavement on priority basis before the existing situation turns from bad to worse. Interests of innocent pedestrians must be protected at all costs.
