For more than 20 days, the outer cover of a focus lamp fixture over a electricity pole along the Dhawali-Top Cola route in Ponda has been lying in a hanging position. Such a sorry state of affairs ultimately depicts negligence on the part of the maintenance personnel deputed at this location.
As on Friday February 24 at 2:45 pm, this particular cover remained neglected. Errors over streetlight poles need to be attended at the appropriate time. It is absolutely necessary that the existing hanging cover of above focus lamp is re-fixed in its correct position at the earliest.
Let us hope that the higher officials at the Electricity Department will take a note of this important matter and initiate prompt positive action on priority basis.
