A concrete slab has been lying abandoned along the drain close to the boundary wall of Almeida High School in the vicinity of old bus stand in Ponda. The same doesn’t serve any purpose and is not at all required at this spot.
It would be appropriate for the Ponda Municipal Council to remove the unwanted slab and carry it to the stores department as per its convenience. The said slab can very well be utilised at any other location in Ponda as and when needed.

As on November 13, situation in this regard was found to be unchanged. I hope the higher officials at this competent authority would take a note of above important matter and arrange the removal of the said concrete slab on priority basis. Prompt positive action is awaited.
