It is distressing to see miscreants dumping garbage along the service road in Mapusa. Bags of trash, broken tiles, fish and meat waste, plastics, and other rubbish lie scattered, creating an eyesore.
The stench emanating from these piles is unbearable, posing a severe health hazard. Pedestrians and commuters passing through the area have to hold their breath to avoid the nauseating smell.

The Mapusa Municipal Council must act immediately to monitor these black spots, penalise offenders, and ensure regular waste removal. Every citizen has a right to a clean environment and the responsibility to maintain it.
