The stray cattle menace in Benaulim has reached its epic proportion. Now, on every road you can think of…the beach road, the Varca road, the Colva road, the Margao road, is home to these animals.
Almost, every week an accident takes place with either the vehicle being damaged or a two-wheeler rider sustaining injuries. A couple of dairies operating in the village lead out their buffaloes for grazing which adds to the problems and also leaves muck on the road.

I request the panchayat to either impound such cattle or impose fines on errant owners as the matter is getting dangerously out of hand.
