Vasco’s Maimollem lake covered with water hyacinth

The Maimollem lake in Vasco was to be restored and developed into a tourist attraction. The plan was disclosed in January last year. 

However at present, the lake is completely covered by a thick layer of water hyacinth. It can be a perfect breeding place for mosquitoes. Will the authorities please do the needful and restore the glory of the lake?
