Lately Chinchinim is witnessing a lot of garbage scattered all around the village, especially at new road leading towards Orlim.
Most of the garbage comes from the barber shops, wholesale dealers, animals waste and general public. If one observes, for last 10 to 15 years this was not happening in Goa, but why it is happening now and what is the reason. Most of the people forced to dump their garbage on the roads and in fields.
The panchayats and municipalities have put Rs 5,000 fine boards everywhere but are they serious about the garbage menace in their villages and cities?
They should take action on this or should employ people who will clean this mess.
People should also take responsibility when it comes to garbage disposal. We all should help in keeping Goa clean.
