City jeweller held for mangalsutra thefts

PANJIM, JULY 13 A well-known jeweler from Panjim was today arrested by the Vengurla police (Maharashtra) in connection with the mangalsutra theft case. According to information received here, few days back the Vengurla police have arrested one Sushant Palkar, resident of Parra for five mangalsutra theft cases.

A well-known jeweler from Panjim was today arrested by the Vengurla police (Maharashtra) in connection with the mangalsutra theft case.
According to information received here, few days back the Vengurla police have arrested one Sushant Palkar, resident of Parra for five mangalsutra theft cases.
During investigations, Palkar admitted to selling the gold to the Panjim-based jeweller.
Today, the Vengurla police arrested the jeweler from his shop, police sources told Herald.
