Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has convened a meeting with the heads of 35 taxi associations in an effort to address the ongoing taxi-related concerns and finalise the proposed digital taxi policy.
The meeting is scheduled to take place today at 11 am at the Mantralaya, where discussions are expected to focus on finding a workable solution to the long-standing issues involving taxi operators in the state.
According to sources, the proposed digital taxi policy aims to streamline services while ensuring benefits for both taxi operators and tourists visiting the state.
The meeting is seen as a significant step by the state government towards resolving the ongoing taxi dispute and introducing a technology-driven framework for the taxi sector in Goa.
