CM SAWANT: Opposition don’t need to make big Natak over Manipur Violence in the house, says PM will take action

Commenting on the Manipur violence and gang rape incident Goa
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said that it is shocking over such incidents,
he said it’s an insult to law abiding civil society of the country. Firstly
being a responsible citizen of the country and the Chief Minister of the state
he’s heart is full of pain and anger, convey his sentiments of solidarity with
the victims of the horrific unfortunate incidents. Supporting the Prime
Minister Modi, CM said that Government of India will take strongest possible
action against the culprits.

He further said that no one needs to make a big drama (Natak) over
this, everyone knows about this incident and assured that Prime minister of
India Narendra Modi will take strong action.

During the start of the assembly session on Friday, Opposition
members created a ruckus in the house by demanding a dedicated discussion on
the Manipur violence. They reached the well of the house and demanded the Chief
Minister’s statement on the matter.
