Co-accused in forgery case moves court

An auditor of a nationalized bank in Mapusa, co-accused in a forgery case, has moved the Sessions Court for anticipatory bail, even as police suspect a hawala racket in the entire episode.
It may be recalled that one Sapnesh Chari of Dharbandora-Ponda had filed a complaint against senior manager of a bank and its auditor for forging his signature and documents in preparing a fraudulent account.
PI Manjunath Desai is investigating the case under the supervision of Mapusa SDPO DySP Sammy Tavares.
