MARGAO: District Magistrate, South N D Agrawal on Friday issued directions to regulate flow of traffic on the NH-17 between Agnel Ashram circle and Nagoa circle in view of road cutting for laying pipeline across the highway near Agnel Ashram, Verna.
In a notification, the Collector directed that traffic from Nagoa circle to Agnel Ashram circle will be one-way traffic from Verna towards Margao with effect from 2 pm on March 16 to 7 am on March 18.
Similarly, he said that traffic from Agnel Ashram circle to Nagoa circle will be one way for traffic from Margao to Cortalim. Vehicles coming from Cansaulim, Majorda, Utorda will be diverted towards old NH-17 via Verna Church.
