PANJIM: The upcoming All India Hindu Convention will witness Hindu organisations resolving to insist the new government at the Centre to take policy decisions on pending issues related to rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus and rebuilding of Ram Temple in the Ayodhya among many others.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, national spokesperson of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Ramesh Shinde said the discussion during the convention will also revolve around protecting Hindus in the neighbouring countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
“This Convention will finalise the organisational efforts to force the Central Government, which will take over the reins after the election results to take firm policy decisions, by holding discussions on many pending problems of Hindus since last so many years such as rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus, Uniform Civil Code, revoking Article 370, ban on cow slaughter, rebuilding the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, etc. Along with these, the discussions will also be held in the convention regarding the protection of Hindus in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka,” he said.
As the 8th ‘All India Convention for the Hindu Nation is scheduled from May 27 to June 8, at Ramnath Temple, Ponda, the right-wing outfit stated that during the last seven years lot of awareness about the concept of the ‘Hindu Nation’ was created in the entire nation.
For the upcoming convention, more than 800 delegates of over 200 Hindu organisations from 26 Indian States and Bangladesh are likely to participate.
