PONDA: Ponda Police arrested a Volvoi resident for allegedly assaulting two Carambolim locals at Betki-Marcel petrol pump over refuelling issue.
Police arrested Sidhesh Moraji for allegedly assaulting the two namely Vaman Vorgaonkar and Chandresh Vorgaonkar who were waiting in a queue at the petrol pump. Police said the accused and victims had arrived at petrol pump for refuelling their cars. The victims complained that they had arrived first at the pump and had queued up for refuelling their vehicles. They further claimed that Sidhesh, who arrived late, rushed to refuel his vehicle. Ponda Police have registered an offence against the accused.
