Panjim: Goa witnessed hundred per cent jump in the COVID-19 infection on Tuesday with 62 new cases detected during the day.
As per State Health Department’s bulletin, 62 new infections were reported on Tuesday taking the toll to 2,46,115. The state had reported 30 new infections on Monday. As many as eight patients were discharged from hospitals during the day on Tuesday, taking the count of recoveries to 2,41,955, while the toll remained unchanged at 3,832, as no fresh fatalities were reported, the official said.

At least 915 swab samples were tested on Tuesday, taking the total number of tests carried out in the state to 19,56,632.
