PORVORIM: BJP’s Cuncolim MLA Clafasio Dias has finally tested negative for COVID infection and has been shifted to Goa Medical College, the government announced, on Monday.
Clafasio was admitted to the COVID ESI Hospital after he tested positive for virus on July 1.

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane broke the news on social media saying “Happy to announce that my colleague and Cuncolim MLA Clafasio Dias has been tested negative for COVID and shifted to GMC for further treatment.”
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant also took to Twitter to express his feelings, “Glad that Cuncolim MLA and my colleague Clafasio Dias has recovered from #COVID19. He has been shifted to GMC for examination and is expected to be discharged soon.”
