PONDA: Six of the 11 panchas of Curti Khandepar panchayat moved a no confidence motion notice against Sarpanch Naved Tehsildar.

Panchas Abijeet Gaude, Harish Naik, Wilma Pereira, Manish Naik, Sajida Amjad Sayed and Sanjana Naik were signatories to the no trust motion.
The panchas alleged that the Sarpanch used to sideline them when it came to taking decisions development.
Locals were unhappy with the musical chair politics plaguing the panchayat and recalled seeing eight sarpanchas during the last term and feared that history would repeat again.
Villagers stated that such political instability hampers development works and people suffer.
Meanwhile from the political angle, it’s will be a blow to MGP as the lotus is likely to bloom in Curti Khandepar if the sarpanch is dethroned.
