In its order the NGT directed “all the structures including a restaurant, bar and pub and allied structures standing in land survey number 65/1-A shall be demolished by the Deputy Collector within a period of six weeks.” The NGT judgement and order was passed on May 29.
An application initially filed by Kashinath Shetye challenging the construction of commercial premises carried out by Anil Hoble as being in violation of the Coastal Regulatory Zone (CRZ) regulations, was won at the NGT.
