Singh will chair a co-ordination committee meeting on Saturday morning, wherein he will take stock of drafting of the manifesto for the 2017 elections and the BJP government charge sheet. AICC secretary Chellakumar is already in Goa since Thursday.
The AICC leader will also chalk out the strategy for the monsoon session of the State Assembly beginning from July 25.
Singh’s presence in the State at a time when the Pradesh Congress Committee and legislative wing are at loggerheads over the grand alliance issue may give some indication of the party’s future plans. The AICC leader had earlier announced that the party will contest all 40 seats and had ruled out any alliance with Goa Forward.
