VALPOI: The Director of Municipal Administration (DMA) Ashok Kumar on Thursday visited the proposed children’s park site at Valpoi and assured the municipality that the project will be scrutinised on priority basis.
Valpoi Municipal Council chairperson Parveen Shaikh along with the chief officer Cynthia Mesquita, vice-chairman Sayyad Sarfraz and councillor Akhtar Shah were present.
Shaikh impressed upon the DMA on the need to have a Children’s Park in the town. Shaikh said that the council passed a resolution for the Children’s Park in Valpoi and the file has been sent to the DMA’s office for approval.
