MARGAO, AUG 11
The Majorda beach had an unusual visitor on Tuesday evening as a 7-foot long dolphin was washed ashore.
Villagers initially believed that an injured dolphin was washed on the beach and immediately informed the Colva police, who requisitioned the services of an animal rescue team attached to the forest department.
It was only after the team made their presence felt that they realized that it was a dead dolphin. The carcass was later buried on the beach.
