PANJIM: The Department of BBA (Travel & Tourism) of Don Bosco College, Panjim in association with Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG), will hold a panel discussion on “Tourism and Digital Transformation” with leading stakeholders of the tourism industry in Goa on World Tourism Day 2018. The discussion will be held on Thursday, at 4.30 pm, at Don Bosco College, Panjim.
The panellists for the discussion will be Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) president Savio Messias, British Business Group, Goa president Peter Pinto, Open Destinations Ltd, Goa vice-president Milind Anvekar and CWC, South Goa chairperson and lawyer Lida Joao da Silva Luis e Kenkre.
The release issued by the organisers states that the event would note that digital advances are transforming how we connect and inform ourselves, our behaviour, and encouraging innovation and sustainability along with responsible growth strategies. It says that the theme of “Tourism and Digital Transformation” has been selected to design and raise awareness among local tourism stakeholders and involve them into discussions, allowing them to weigh in on all the pros and cons of the digital transformations impacting the industry.
