MARGAO: Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho has advised panchayats and people of South Goa to shun negativity and support the development of the State.
Addressing Zilla Parishad members at a function at Margao, he said in the next four to five years Goa will be in the fast lane of development, as there were lot of infrastructural work taking place.
“I too took a little while to make my way from the traffic this morning as there is some work going on at Cortalim. This work is for us and it will affect us initially but ease things in future,” Mauvin said.
“Don’t be negative; support the government in its endeavours. Goa is changing and it needs the support of the people,” he emphasised.
Speaking on Mopa, he said people have understood that Dabolim is here to stay. I have always been saying that with the increase of tourism, Mopa will be the engine of growth for Goa.
