MARGAO: The fate of the Sarpanch and deputy sarpanch of Dramapur-Sirlim village Panchayat will be finally decided on August 27.
A meeting of the Panchayat body has been convened on August 27 at 11 am to take up the no confidence motion tabled against Sarpanch Olasrico Rodrigues and his deputy Edcy Fernandes.
Four members of the village panchayat, Rosario Agostinho D’Costa, Jose Bernardo Santano Rebello, Domnic John Norohna and Netty Ferrao had signed the no trust motion over the non- co-operative attitude of the Sarpanch in implementing developmental works of other wards and for not taking members into confidence.
