Five tourists from Bengaluru were detained by Calangute Police after allegedly going on a drunken rampage around 3 a.m., toppling and damaging nearly 8 to 10 parked scooters while returning from the beach.
The incident came to light on Monday morning when locals discovered several two-wheelers lying damaged along the roadside. Upon reviewing CCTV footage, residents identified the tourists responsible and immediately alerted the police.
