MARGAO: The special general body meeting of Madgaum Urban Co-operative Bank Employees Union, on Saturday, has decided to approach the Government of Goa for solution to the troubles of the bank and the employees.
The bank is placed under RBI directions u/s 35A of Banking Regulation Act in May 2019. And the RBI is set to issue show cause notice as to why the banking licence should not be cancelled before March 31, 2020.
The meeting has adopted certain resolutions unanimously. A Letter will be issued to the employer demanding immediate release of service benefits withheld illegally by the management.
