PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has hit out at a junior officer in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) for not following protocol and writing to the State Principal Secretary of Transport and PWD and the director of Transport on the issue of entry tax, even as he denied that his office had received a copy of the letter. “I am questioning the propriety of the officer. I will personally write to the cabinet secretary and the prime minister. He has no right to ask the state principal secretary. “We also want to know why a person to whom a copy was sent, got it first,” Parrikar said, adding that his office is yet to receive a copy of the letter from the MoRTH.
