Expert Committee members meet in view of rising COVID-19 cases

The Expert Committee members held a meeting in view of the rising COVID-19 cases; Health Minister Vishwajit Rane appeals to people to wear masks, and follow social distancing and protocols. He also requests people to get the precautionary dose. The Health Department will also allow a few private pediatric clinics to give vaccines.

Rane said ‘it is our duty to provide the infrastructure & facilities; if at least 50 people come together, we can send our team & get them vaccinated.’ He also assures that there won’t be any shortage of beds and that the present covid-19 infection effects are mild and the isolation period is 5 days.
