RAIA: Fatima Convent High School, Margao, blanked Saviour of the World Loutolim, 4-0, in the inaugural match of U-15 women’s football tournament organised by Navelim Sporting Club, at Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Thursday.
For Fatima Convent HS, Shailaika Rodrigues scored a brace, while Jeanne D’Silva and Cricia Almeida netted a goal each.
Shailaika Rodrigues of Fatima Convent HS was awarded the player-of-the-match by Covan Lawrence football player and coach.
In another match of the day, St Anne’s Institute, Agonda, defeated St Joseph High School, Aquem, by 1-0. Gwneith Fernandes scored the all-important goal for St Anne’s Institute.
