FIR Registered After Air Pollution Monitoring Equipment Worth ₹16 Lakh Stolen in Mormugao

Mormugao Police Station has registered an FIR against unknown persons for allegedly stealing air quality monitoring equipment worth nearly ₹16 lakh belonging to the Goa State Pollution Control Board.

According to police, the theft took place from the terrace of MPA quarters located near Ravindra Bhavan in Baina, Mormugao.

The stolen equipment reportedly includes two respirable dust samplers and three fine particulate samplers that were being used for monitoring air pollution levels in the area.

Police have launched an investigation into the case and are working to identify the persons involved in the theft.
