Woman Held in Goa Airport NDPS Case Booked for Alleged Identity Fraud

A woman arrested in connection with an NDPS case at Goa International Airport has now been booked separately for allegedly using a false identity during the investigation.

According to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), the accused, Olivia Lalchawimawii from Mizoram, allegedly impersonated another individual by identifying herself as “Lallawmzuali” after being apprehended on March 25.

Investigators stated that the accused produced an Aadhaar card and a boarding pass bearing the false name during questioning by officials.

Based on the alleged impersonation and submission of forged identity details, police have now registered a separate case against the woman.

Authorities said further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
