MARGAO: Judicial Magistrate First Class Shilpa Pandit on Friday posted for written arguments on August 27, the case filed by a Margao-based advocate seeking directions to the police to book the 17 persons responsible for bringing fish laced with formalin to Goa last year.
The advocate who filed the case was not present in the court and his assistant sought time on ground that his senior wanted to counter the argument advanced by Special Public Prosecutor Subhash Dessai on August 9.
Posting the case for August 27, the JMFC asked the advocate to submit an advance copy of his written arguments to the public prosecutor (PP) and also asked the PP to file his say in writing, too.
