VASCO: Four trains were short terminated and one train was diverted on Saturday evening on short notice following a land slide at a railway tunnel between Dudhsagar and Sonaulim on Saturday evening due to heavy rainfall.
Sources from the South western railway informed that due to land slide between Dudhsagar and Sonaulim at 5 pm on Saturday some trains were diverted and short terminated.
Sources further informed that train number 12779, Vasco da Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express was diverted via Margao. Train number 17305 Hubli-Linda/Nizamuddin Link Express was short terminated at Dharwad.
Train number 06922 Vasco da Gama-Belagavi Passenger was short terminated at Kulem and train number 02779 Vasco da Gama- KSR Bengaluru sleeper coaches were short terminated at Margao.
