A shocking incident from Himachal Pradesh’s Una district surfaced after a video showed a four-year-old girl tied up and crying for help. The child was allegedly punished by a former Army man for plucking a guava from a tree in his garden. According to police, the man tied the girl’s hands and legs with a rope inside his house and beat her, while she pleaded, “Uncle, mujhe bacha lo.” Villagers who learned about the situation rushed to the spot and rescued her. The rescue video quickly spread on social media, prompting widespread outrage. Police reached the village, took the child for a medical check-up, and detained the accused. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Juvenile Justice Act.
