Goa-based advocate Raviraj Chodankar has been appointed as Special Public Prosecutor by the Government of India to handle Income Tax prosecution matters in the Dharwad, Hubballi, Karwar and Gadag regions of Karnataka.
According to the official appointment order, Chodankar will represent the Income Tax Department in prosecution cases before courts in the designated jurisdictions.

His appointment authorises him to conduct and oversee legal proceedings related to Income Tax matters and economic offences falling under the department’s purview in the specified regions.
