The move comes amid broader operational restructuring by the budget carrier, which has been scaling down services on several routes across the country.

With the suspension of flights from Mopa airport, passengers travelling to and from Goa may now have fewer connectivity options on routes previously operated by SpiceJet. However, other airlines continue to operate services from the airport.

Manohar International Airport, which serves as Goa’s second international airport, has witnessed changing airline schedules and route adjustments since commencing operations.

Further details regarding the possibility of SpiceJet resuming services at the airport in the future are yet to be announced.
