PANJIM: The crucial meeting of Acting Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to be held in Delhi this afternoon.
The meeting will also have the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President J P Nadda.

Dr Sawant and Tanavade left for Delhi for the legislative party’s meeting on Tuesday.
The party is indecisive over Goa’s next CM as Vishwajit Rane has also pitched in for the poat. Sources said Dr Sawant is the frontrunner but a final decision will be announced post Holi
Before leaving for the national capital, Dr Sawant told reporters that the new government will be formed after the election of the leader of the legislative party in the presence of the BJP Central observer.
The BJP Parliamentary Board appointed Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar as the central observer for Goa and Union Minister of State for Fisheries and Animal Husbandry L Murugan the co-observer.
Their visit to Goa today is likely to be postponed owing to the meeting in Delhi today.
Sources said the union ministers are likely to arrive tomorrow.
