The Goa Forward Party (GFP) has announced the appointment of Block Presidents in 10 constituencies with immediate effect as part of its efforts to strengthen the party’s organisational structure and expand its grassroots presence across the state.
The appointments were made by GFP President Vijai Sardesai, who said the move is aimed at reinforcing the party’s base at the constituency level and enhancing its outreach among the people.
According to the party, the newly appointed Block Presidents will play a key role in coordinating organisational activities, engaging with local communities, and strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level.
The appointments come as the GFP seeks to consolidate its organisational network and prepare for upcoming political activities and electoral challenges.
Party leaders stated that empowering local leadership and building stronger constituency-level structures remain central to the GFP’s strategy for expanding its reach and addressing issues affecting Goans.
The newly appointed office-bearers have been tasked with mobilising party workers, promoting the party’s agenda, and ensuring greater engagement with voters in their respective constituencies.
